AIP Publishing

On Friday April 20, I met at the AIP Publishing Center with the Subcommittee on Classification and Information Retrieval (SCIR). The morning discussion was devoted to proposed changes in PACS. Since I am not an expert in any field of physics, I did not have much to say. The afternoon discussion was about "new ways" to search for and retrieve information and I was able to add to the discussion. This was the first meeting in a three year term.

In February, I offered a session about CUL electronic resources for graduate students in the Applied and Engineering Physics Department. The Physics Graduate Society is interested in having me do a similar session for them. (TBA)
